There are certain products made available by third-party retailers using the Fruugo platform that legally require age verification processes to be followed prior to any parcel being handed over to a purchaser. Fruugo mandates that all third-party retailers using its platform must use such age verification procedures where applicable.

Fruugo has a robust Notice and Take Down procedure and any illegal content brought to our attention will be removed expeditiously and measures will be taken internally to prevent it from reappearing.

Unfortunately, some third-parties may not adhere to our retailer terms and conditions and they may try to circumvent our content blocks and non-compliant content or products may occasionally find their way onto the Fruugo platform. In such circumstances, these products are removed promptly by Fruugo when they are identified.

Retailers found to be in contravention of this Protection of Minor’s Policy shall be escalated for internal disciplinary action, which may include permanent removal from the Fruugo platform.
