The basic working principle 1. Use the IO port TRIG to trigger a high-level signal of at least 10μs 2. The module automatically sends eight 40kHz ultrasonic pulses and detects if a signal is returned 3. When a signal is returned, a high-level pulse is output through the IO port. The duration of the high level corresponds to the time taken for the ultrasonic wave to travel to the target and back. Distance = (duration of high level × speed of sound (340m/s)) / 2 4. This module uses a simple method: apply a 10μs high-level signal to the control pin, then wait for a high-level output on the receiving pin. When the output goes high, timing begins; when it goes low, the timing ends. This time interval can be used to calculate the distance.
