The TSL2591 light sensor is an advanced digital light sensor, suitable for use in various light conditions. Compared to low-cost cadmium sulfide cells, this sensor is more accurate, allowing precise lux calculations and configurable for different gain/timing ranges, with a 188 DULUX light detection range up to 88,000 lux at a flying distance. It contains both infrared and full-spect diodes, which can measure infrared, full-spect or human visible light respectively. The TSL2591 light sensor has a huge dynamic range of 600 million:1.
