Squirrel Baffle for Bird Feeder Pole, Large 19 Inch Weather Resistant Guard for Shepherd's Hook

19' DIAMETER SQUIRREL BAFFLE — Stops squirrels and raccoons from reaching your bird feeder and protects seed with a larger, more effective design. Key Benefits More effective size: The 19' diameter design creates greater instability (jitter) than smaller baffles, so rodents that fly up or climb cannot stand stably on it. Anything smaller than 19 inches cannot step over this baffle easily, keeping food for birds instead of pests. Durable, weatherresistant material: Made from quality polypropylene (PP) with a glossy black finish. The baffle resists cracking, sun damage, and rain exposure so it lasts season after season without rusting or deteriorating. Low maintenance and clean appearance: The glazed, slippery surface prevents animals from gaining a foothold and makes outdoor dirt easy to wash off. Unlike metal baffles, the PP construction won't rust or develop a rough, unattractive finish. Saves money: By preventing squirrels and raccoons from eating bird seed, the baffle reduces waste and lowers ongoing feeder costs. Features and Performance Size: 19inch diameter for coverage and effectiveness. Material & Finish: quality PP with a glossy black coating for weather fastness and wear resistance. Surface: Slippery, glazed surface that denies grip and is simple to clean. Pest control: Effective against climbing and leaping rodents, including squirrels and raccoons. Compatibility and Installation Fits poles and shepherd hooks with diameters from 2/3 inch to 13/8 inches. Installation steps: 1. Tighten the four screws to secure the buckle to the pole or shepherd hook. 2. Position the buckle at least 6 feet above the ground. 3. Wrap the baffle around the buckle and press the side buttons to lock it in place. 4. Ensure the baffle is installed 8 to 10 feet away from tree trunks or other platforms that animals could jump from.
