This single prong tool is designed for going around corners, evening out the correct number of holes ensuring proper size continuity with previously punched holes and punching corner holes.This Seiwa / Kyoshin Elle pricking iron is excellent as a stitch punch to ensure accurate and easy to sew holes are left in your leather. Please note this sizes are between the points of the prongs, this differs to the way Craft Sha hole are measured (distance between the edges of the prongs). Seiwa irons are compatible with Craft sha using the following data: Craft Sha 1.5mm = Seiwa 3mm, Craft Sha 2mm = Seiwa 4mm, Craft Sha 2.5mm = Seiwa 5mm, Craft Sha 3mm = Seiwa 6mmThe blade of this single prong Pricking Iron is the same as that of other 6mm Seiwa / Kyoshin Elle Stitching Punches and nippers that make nine holes per inch or four holes per centimetre.
