RM3100 was previously used in navigation fields such as land and ocean mapping, sonar positioning and robotics. Now consumer products can also use the same precision RM3100, said Becky Oh, president and CEO of Precision Navigation. RM3100 is an industrial-grade product that provides accurate and stable azimuth measurement applications. Its measurement accuracy is less than 10nT-less than 0.1% of the earth's magnetic field, which is an ideal product for applications that only require azimuth or heading measurement. The performance is more than 20 times that of existing MEMS or Hall effect sensors. RM3100 is a member of the precision navigation geomagnetic sensor. It mainly includes three latest coil-type magnetic sensors and ASIC driver chips. RM3100 has been improved in gain, resolution and power consumption, and provides SPI and I2C interfaces for flexible selection. Relying on Precision Navigation's proprietary technology, the RM3100 provides 23 times higher resolution and 27 times lower noise than traditional Hall magnetic sensors. These are the reasons why it can provide accurate heading data in a variety of different applications.
