A red light on the base will illuminate when connected to power and remains on during charging, which takes approximately 3 hours to fully charge. To use the clamp, remove the base and attach the table clamp to a suitable position where the plywood thickness is less than or equal to 40 mm, then adjust the lamp body to the desired angle. The base features a touch switch with PWM dimming functionality. Pressing the switch for less than 550 ms turns the light on or off. Touching and holding for more than 550 ms activates the dimmer function; continued touching gradually increases or decreases brightness, which stops changing when released. Holding the switch for over 3 seconds cycles brightness from the lowest to highest level (or vice versa) in continuous mode.
