6-piece PVC pipe reamer set with 2 carbide inserts per reamer for stable, efficient trimming. Includes sizes PPR75, PPR100, PPR150, PPR200, PPR300 and PPR400. Benefits - Wide pipe compatibility: designed to clean residual material and solvent cement from PVC, CPVC or ABS fittings so they can be reused. Fits standard 1/2 inch drill. - Time and material savings: reduces waste by restoring fittings for reuse across a range of plastic pipe systems. Material and construction - Durable anti-corrosion design: reamers are made from premium alloy with a square, four-sided carbide insert that can be rotated 180 degrees for a fresh cutting surface. Carbide advantages - Each insert provides a cutting edge on every side. Rotate before replacement to access up to three additional cutting edges. - High torque, low speed operation recommended to minimize heat from friction and achieve clean cuts. Note - Not recommended for use on pressurized systems. Use scenarios - Refurbishing PVC/CPVC/ABS fittings in home plumbing by removing cement residues to allow reuse. - Cleaning and reworking PPR fittings during repairs or renovations to save material costs. - Preparing pipe ends and fittings for non-pressurized system installations or adjustments, ensuring clean, reusable joints.
