PH/CL2 Water Quality Tester This water quality tester is designed to measure pH and chlorine levels in swimming pools and spas. The large screen displays test results quickly with high accuracy. Lightweight and compact, it is easy to carry. Note: A standard solution with a chlorine concentration of 1.5 ppm is required for chlorine measurement. This solution is not included. Range: Test results for pH and chlorine content are displayed on a large screen for convenient and accurate reading. Safe chlorine range: 1.21.7 ppm. Safe pH range: 7.27.8. Application: This tester is suitable for measuring water pH and chlorine levels in swimming pools, spas, saunas, and aquariums. Material: The device features a durable plastic housing with metal components. Requires 1 x 1.5V AA alkaline battery (not included). Storage Instructions: 1. When not in use, turn the knob to the closed position (rotate in the PH direction until it stops). 2. Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. 3. Do not immerse the test rod in any liquid other than swimming pool water or spa water. 4. Regularly check the fluid level to ensure it is within normal range. Instructions: 1. pH Measurement (without battery): - Turn the knob to PH until a click is heard. - Gently clean the metal rod with fine sandpaper to remove scale, then rinse with purified water and dry with a paper towel or clean cloth. - Wait 35 seconds to eliminate static electricity before measuring. - Insert the test rod into the neutral solution (black position). - Allow the pointer to stabilize (approximately 35 minutes) before taking a reading. 2. Chlorine Measurement (battery required): - Install one 1.5V AA alkaline battery. - Turn the knob to CL until it stops. - Insert the clean metal rod into a standard solution with a known chlorine concentration of 1.5 ppm. - Stir gently and adjust the knob until the pointer aligns with the known standard value. - Remove the rod without moving the knob. The pointer will settle at a letter between A and Ethis is your adjustment point. - For subsequent measurements, align the pointer to the adjustment point, insert the rod into the sample water, and wait for the pointer to stabilize (35 minutes) before reading.
