Remove any dirt or debris on the surface of the wood as this will affect the tool's performance. Hold the handle as you would a pen with your dominant hand, then and push forward against your wood, using the thumb of your non-dominant hand as a guide and to assist in the forward movement. For additional control, you can place your index and middle finger of your dominant hand on the blade to guide the cutting edge.Please note: The blade edge is sharp, keep out of the reach of children.
