This box is compatible with EDC15 (diesel) and ME7 control units. The EDC15 diesel engine control unit is installed in certain models from 1999 onwards. The ME7 engine control unit for engines 1.6 I and above is also supported. Additional supported control unit types include ME7.5, ME7.5.1, ME7.1, and ME7.1.1. Usage instructions: Simply connect the EDC15/ME7 box to the vehicle's OBD2 diagnostic port. Switch the OBD2 drive box to "OFF". After approximately 20 seconds, the immobilizer will be deactivated (IMMO OFF). No computer connection is required. The LED on the device will first flash slowly, then rapidly, indicating that the immobilizer function has been disabled. The vehicle will operate without a transponder key. To reactivate the immobilizer, switch the drive box back to "ON". After approximately 20 seconds, the immobilizer will be activated (IMMO ON). Designed for specific models equipped with Motronic control units EDC15 (diesel) or ME7. Not suitable for 1.8T, 2.0TFSI, 1.4, or 1.6 engine models.
