When the fluid to be measured passes through the turbine flowmeter sensor, the fluid forces the impeller to rotate. The rotational speed is proportional to the average flow velocity in the pipeline. As the blades rotate, they periodically cut the magnetic field generated by the electromagnet, changing the magnetic flux in the coil. Based on the principle of electromagnetic induction, a pulsating electric potential signal (electric pulse signal) is generated in the coil. The frequency of this signal is proportional to the flow rate of the fluid.
