Features: Add 16 I/O Channels: The two-wire I2C interface controls 16 bidirectional channels, expanding available inputs and outputs without assigning a separate microcontroller pin to every attached component. Defined Board Construction: PCB and electronic components form the populated expansion board, while printed pin labels and through-hole connection points help identify the available connections during project assembly. Configurable Voltage Setup: The board accepts 2.5-5.5 V and includes onboard 3.3 V translation; leave the VCC-VDD solder bridge open for 3.3 V control or solder it so control voltage follows VCC. Multi-Device Project Use: Individually usable channels support buttons, LEDs, buzzers, relays, and limit switches for microcontroller prototyping and control projects. Input-Change Notification: An open-drain output notifies the microcontroller when an input changes, reducing the need to continuously read every input channel.
