Fair trade and organic coconut flour & oil: Traditionally used for oral care in India, coconut flour combined with coconut oil is a gentle, effective cleanser. Fair Trade and organic coconut oil comes from our serendipol project in Sri Lanka. Serendipol positively impacts over 1,000 farmers and staff and funds community-led projects to improve health, education and infrastructure. Serendipol proves that business can be socially responsible and environmentally sustainable. Dr. Bronner's constructive capitalism: Dr. Bronner's believes in running a business that is good for its employees, society and the planet. As well as funding fair trade and organic projects, we dedicate a significant portion of our annual profits to funding positive social change. All full-time employees receive up to 25% of their salary as a bonus every year, get 15% of their salary as profit sharing for retirement, and have 100% free health care for themselves and their families. Dr. Bronner's was founded in 1948 by Emanuel Bronner, a third generation German-Jewish soapmaker. He used the labels on his superbly formulated ecological soaps to spread his message that we must realize our transcendent unity across religious and ethnic divides or perish: "we are all-one or none"
