1. Test the relay module: Connect the VCC pin to 5V, GND to ground, and IN to ground — the relay will activate. If the IN pin is left unconnected, the relay will deactivate. Repeating this action will produce an audible click sound. 2. Test the soil moisture sensor module: Connect the fork probe to the sensor module using two Dupont wires. Power the sensor module by connecting VCC to 5V and GND to ground. When powered, the red power LED remains on; the green (or blue) indicator LED flashes faintly once. Insert the fork probe into water — the green (or blue) indicator LED will illuminate. 3. Connect the red wire of the water pump to 5V and the black wire to ground to operate the pump. Note: Operation should be limited to 1 second during testing. Do not run the pump dry for extended periods.
