This lacing chisel is designed for creating slits in leather for lacing. It features a non-slip handle that provides secure grip during use, supporting controlled and accurate cutting.The tool can be applied to projects such as wallets, belts, bags, and accessories where lacing is required. A single prong version is useful for corners or for placing custom-spaced holes, while multiple prong versions provide efficiency when making continuous rows of slits.The chisel prongs are available in two spacing sizes: 2mm and 3mm. The 2mm version is offered in 1, 2, 3, and 4-prong variations, while the 3mm version is also available in 1, 2, 3, and 4-prong types. The 4-prong 3mm variation features angled prongs. Each prong measures 3mm (0.12 in) in width.Made from hardened steel, the chisel is constructed to produce consistent, precise holes that support strong and neat lacing results.To use, position the chisel on the leather and strike with a mallet on a protective cutting board. After use, store the tool away from contact with hard surfaces to maintain the cutting edge.Keep out of the reach of children. Store in a dry environment after use.
