Craft Sha Leathercraft Dye Quick 500ml Water Based Leather Dye Orange No.3

This Craft Sha Craft Dye Quick Orange No.3 is a 500ml water based basic dye made for adding the range’s verified orange colour to leather. The formula is designed to penetrate quickly and colour evenly, while its documented low odour formulation supports leathercraft colouring, staining, and dyeing.Use the Orange dye with a soft bristled brush or high density craft sponge, either at its original concentration or diluted with water to adjust the shade. Additional layers can deepen the dried result, and compatibility with Craft Sha dyes allows tested colour mixtures to be prepared from products in the same dye series.Product Data:• Product type: Leathercraft dye• Product range: Dye Quick• Colour: Orange• Variation number: No.03• Volume: 500ml approximately 17 US fl oz• Formula: Water-based basic dye• Application methods: Soft-bristled brush or high-density craft sponge• Dilution information: Dilute with water to the desired shade• Manufacturer dilution examples: Dye to water ratios of 1:5 and 1:10• Mixing compatibility: Mixable with Craft Sha Craft Dye and other Craft Dye Quick colours• Key features: Quick and even dyeing, low odour formulation, and narrow pouring spout• Country of origin: JapanVariations (each sold separately):• No.01 Light Yellow• No.02 Yellow• No.05 Yellow Brown• No.07 Maroon Brown• No.08 Brown• No.10 Dark Brown• No.12 Red• No.13 Dark Pink• No.14 Azalea Pink• No.16 Purple• No.17 Light Blue• No.18 Blue• No.19 Navy Blue• No.21 Green• No.22 Dark Green• No.24 BlackBegin by checking the planned concentration on an identical scrap of leather. Dampen the whole surface with clean water using a sponge, transfer the prepared dye to a dish, and spread it in alternating stroke directions to limit streaks. Let the leather dry completely before reviewing the Orange shade, then repeat the application if more colour is needed. When the required colour has been reached and the leather is fully dry, apply 2 to 3 coats of Craft Sha Leather Lacquer to help prevent rubbing off or fading. Judge every layer only after drying because wet leather appears darker, and allow each stage to dry completely before continuing. Please note that leather dyes will only yield desired results on untreated and uncoloured vegetable tanned leather. Application of dyes to already dyed/coloured leather will result in discolouration and darkening of the existing leather colour, and application of dyes on treated (e.g., waxed, lacquered, oiled, etc.) leather may result in inconsistent absorption.
