Pour the prepared Dark Brown dye into a suitable dish, then work it across the leather while changing the brush direction to reduce visible streaks. Let the material dry fully before assessing the result or applying another coat.Test the selected concentration on an identical scrap of leather before treating the main piece. Wet leather appears darker than the final dried colour, so review the Dark Brown result only after complete drying. Once the preferred shade has been reached, apply 2 to 3 coats of Craft Sha Leather Lacquer to help reduce rubbing off or fading. Please note that leather dyes will only yield desired results on untreated and uncoloured vegetable tanned leather. Application of dyes to already dyed/coloured leather will result in discolouration and darkening of the existing leather colour, and application of dyes on treated (e.g., waxed, lacquered, oiled, etc.) leather may result in inconsistent absorption.
