The high-voltage capacitor discharge pen features a constant current discharge design and is suitable for both AC and DC applications without the need to distinguish positive and negative poles. The gold-plated extra-tip test probe ensures reliable connectivity and flexible performance for various applications. During normal discharge operation, the green status indicator light remains illuminated. When the light turns off, it indicates that the energy stored in the capacitor has been discharged below safe levels, making it a practical tool for power supply maintenance and safe discharge of high-voltage energy storage capacitors. Equipped with a 1200V high-power IGBT tube for voltage resistance, it enables rapid constant current discharge in either direction without sparking. Supports discharge for capacitors up to 5000µF. Discharge current ranges from 80–100mA, capable of discharging a 4700µF large capacitor in one go (e.g., 320V 1000µF discharged in approximately 6 seconds, 320V 2000µF in about 10 seconds). Note: This model supports stable operation within DC 1000V/4700µF. In complex circuits with multiple energy storage capacitors connected in parallel, estimate the total capacitance. Continuous discharging is not recommended.
