USB to I2C Communication Module Debug Board with GPIO and SMBus for Development

This USB to I2C communication module is designed for development and debugging, featuring GPIO and SMBus support. It offers reliable performance with a compact size (29.5mm x 21.3mm) and includes two M3 mounting holes for easy installation. The module operates via USB bus power (4.0V to 5.25V) or self-powered (3.0V to 3.6V), with I/O voltage from 1.8V to VDD. It is compatible with USB 2.0 full speed (12Mbps) and supports USB suspend states. Key features include an on-chip voltage regulator (3.45V output), power-on reset circuitry, a 194-byte OTP ROM for customizable product info, a 512-byte SMBus data buffer, and configurable clock speeds. The device address is a 7-bit value for the CP212 slave address. It provides 8 GPIOs configurable as inputs/outputs and open drain/push-pull, with a configurable clock for external devices (outputs from 48MHz to 94kHz). The module supports read/write SMBus with period switching LEDs. Compatible with Windows, Mac, and Linux via HID to SMBus library for rapid application development.
