Installation instructions: This instrument is not waterproof and must be installed in a location protected from rain exposure. Display instructions: This instrument features an LED light bar display. When the tank is full, adjust the potentiometer until all LED indicators are illuminated. When the tank is empty, adjust the potentiometer so that all LEDs are completely off. Test instructions: After connecting the positive and negative terminals of the power supply, the meter will not illuminate. Connect the signal line to the negative terminal; all meter lights will gradually illuminate, indicating the meter is functioning properly. Adjustment instructions: Connect the black wire to the positive terminal of the power supply, the green wire to the negative terminal, and the yellow wire to the oil float signal wire. Add oil gradually and adjust the variable resistor until all ten lights are illuminated. Important note: The signal wire must be connected directly from the oil float. The existing wire to the instrument cluster must be disconnected; otherwise, the oil gauge reading will be inaccurate. Note: This product is designed for vehicles with low resistance when the tank is full and high resistance when the tank is empty.
