Description

1. Antenna jack - Universal dongles use the less common MCX or antenna connectors. The connector used here is the more common type, so more adapters and antennas are available for this. It is also more durable and has lower insertion losses. 2. Better cooling system with large aluminium housing and passive cooling - The device features an aluminium housing designed for passive cooling, with cooling holes and a large enclosure. This helps prevent reception from failing due to heat above approximately 1.2 GHz. 3. Receive direct sampling - Listen from 100 kHz to 25 MHz with direct sampling. Connect an antenna to the port and select the Q branch. There is a built-in 25 MHz low-pass filter, but additional filters may be required for optimal performance (for example to dampen strong MW AM signals). 4. Uses R820T2 tuners, higher quality passive components, a USB line choke to reduce USB noise, an improved PCB design for significantly lower internal noise, breakout pads, improved ESD protection, additional bypass capacitors and ferrite power chokes, improved front-end adjustment circuit, and a better LDO.
