Portable Optical Power Meter for Optical Fiber Testing with LED Light

This handheld optical power meter delivers precise absolute and relative loss measurements for optical fiber networks. Its compact form factor and integrated lighting features enable reliable field testing across different environmental conditions. 1. Tests optical power from minus 70 to 10 dBm across wavelengths from 800 to 1700 nm with an accuracy of plus or minus 5 percent. 2. Constructed with a white and black exterior covered in a soft rubber cladding to reduce impact damage, equipped with a backlit screen and an auxiliary LED light for dim settings. 3. Dimensions measure 120 by 71 by 28 millimeters and weigh 130 grams, operating on two AA batteries that are not included with the unit. 4. Retains the selected wavelength after being powered off and restarted, shuts down automatically after ten minutes of inactivity, and identifies test signals at 270 Hz, 300 Hz, 1 kHz, and 2 kHz.
