Excellent Horse Snuffle Mat Flower Power

Excellent Horse Snuffle Mat – natural enrichment and mental challenge The Excellent Horse Snuffle Mat is an effective feeding mat that encourages the horse to actively search for food, just like in nature. By hiding pellets, muesli, or snacks within the mat's structure, the horse is challenged to sniff and forage. This form of feeding provides mental stimulation, a calmer eating pace, and more activity, making the snuffle mat ideal for reducing boredom in the stable, paddock, or during transport. Benefits of the Snuffle Mat * Stimulates natural sniffing and foraging behavior * Extends eating time (slow feeding) * Helps reduce boredom and restlessness * Provides mental challenge and enrichment * Ideal for stable, paddock, and transport * Suitable for daily use * Easy to clean A natural way to combine nutrition and behavior. How it works & background In nature, horses spend a large part of their day searching for food. In modern housing, this behavior is often restricted, which can lead to: * boredom * stress * stable vices. The snuffle mat stimulates this natural behavior by: * “hiding” the feed * allowing the horse to actively search * slowing down feed intake. This creates more calmness, focus, and a natural daily routine. Differences within the range: This snuffle mat offers a different structure and shape than standard snuffle mats, resulting in: * a different searching experience for the horse * extra variety in enrichment * more challenge during daily use. Ideal for alternating with other feed mats. Suitable for: * Horses that get bored easily * Horses on stall rest * Sport horses (mental relaxation) * Young horses (learning through play) * Use during transport. Usage: Place the snuffle mat on a flat surface and hide feed in the mat, such as: * pellets or muesli * mash * pieces of fruit or vegetables * snacks or rewards. Let the horse search and eat on its own.
