With improved resolution, it detects altitude changes below 10 cm, offering 50% higher accuracy compared to previous-generation sensors. Precise altitude detection supports indoor positioning where GPS signals are unavailable. When combined with horizontal location data, it enables floor-level identification for emergency services. Typical relative accuracy: ±0.03 hPa; typical absolute accuracy: ±0.5 hPa — among the highest in the market. This performance results from enhanced temperature stability, reduced drift, and lower noise. Operating temperature range: 0°C to +65°C. Average temperature coefficient offset (TCO): ±0.6 Pa/K. Noise level: 0.9 Pa — 25% lower than the BMP380. The sensor features high long-term stability and low short-term and long-term drift.
