Step 1: Remove the red cover from the end of the probe, and power on the tester. Step 2: Insert the probes into the soil 3-5 inches deep. Step 3: Adjust the probes' position until the tester is securely embedded in the soil. Step 4: Allow about 10 seconds to read the data for Moisture/pH/Light Level/Temperature on the dial. Switch between pH and other settings as needed. Step 5: After use, remove the probes from the soil and wipe them clean. Note: DO NOT immerse the device in liquid.
