A Minerva exclusive, this gorgeous design is printed onto a fabulous quality Activewear knit fabric. Activewear has a lot of stretch and amazing recovery, which means it pings back into shape. It has a glossy, slightly shiny finish which really makes the colours of the design pop This fabric is resistant to creasing, wicks away moisture and is very comfortable to wear. It is made from 85% Polyester and 15% Elastane which gives it a 60% stretch across the width (from selvedge to selvedge) and a 60% stretch down the length of the fabric.The stretch in this fabric makes it the perfect choice for sewing leggings, sportswear, leotards even swimming costumes It can also be used to sew tops and bodycon styles for your everyday wardrobe.At 220 grams per square metre, this fabric is classed as a medium weight. It is opaque and should not require lining, even on lighter colours. We recommend sewing this fabric with a new stretch needle for best results.
